Integrated Audio
Systems Auditorium and Lecture Hall Sound Systems begin with our on site
acoustics measurements to determine optimum loudspeaker selection and
location. While on site our designers meet with client
representatives to determine functional requirements and acceptable
performance parameters for the new system. Upon returning to our
office we utilize three dimensional
computer aided room modeling to assure the optimum loudspeakers can be
chosen for the acoustics of
the space. Our designs utilize Ray Tracing and Early Reflection
models, Sound pressure level calculations for direct and reverberant
field conditions over a seven octave range, Gain before
feedback and Articulation Loss of Consonants (ALCons). Complete
documentation, system tuning, and operations classes and on site
warranty are provided.
The unique
requirements of auditorium and other lecture hall types of systems
include center fill speakers for intelligible voice reproduction with
separate stereo loudspeakers for playback of prerecorded source
material. Often times these systems are designed to interface with
audio-visual or distant learning equipment.
